Highway To Hell Retail Art Installation

The newest a long line of highly creative retail experiences born from LTDUs partnership with MadeWorn is a shoppable art installation in Las Vegas, NV. Our goal was to create a truly impactful environment that would connect with consumers and transport them on a magical rock and roll journey. Located at Fred Segal in the new Resorts World Casino, this install makes a big splash for all who discover it. Paying homage to AC/DC, Frank Zappa, The Rolling Stones and CBGB’s; creative director and founder Blaine Halvorson imagined a tour bus had crashed through the wall of a gritty rock and roll club and then been left to burn. Never ones to shrink from a challenge, we went out and bought a bus. After being cut and welded welded to fit, the Highway To Hell tour bus underwent heavy scenic treatment and was encased in a foam sculpted brick wall. Once the special effects, audio, and video elements were added the space was fully transformed into the rock ‘n’ roll crash scene of Blaine’s imagining. The small shop now houses over 60 styles and 200 SKUs from the MadeWorn line as well as countless detailed artistic elements including a truly convincing club bathroom. This store is not to be missed when in Las Vegas.
